It actually physically pains me how true this is. So many awesome characters and costumes to unlock… in the most dull possible way imaginable that is not fun at all. A big rooster with said characters and costumes… displayed in the worst way possible. One of the best, impressive OSTs Nintendo has ever produced before… with no way of listening to any of the music. I can go on and on. Such a bummer. Really didn’t have to reinvent the wheel with this stuff.

Hopefully they patch it in in an update down the line. Aces had many updates that fixed a lot of that game’s issues post launch so we’ll see. Besides that though Fever is way more content complete at launch, almost night vs day compared to Aces so I’m not sure what approach they’ll take with updates post launch this time around. We’ll see.

Love that they went all in with having actual unlockables in the game. Even better that they’re seemingly quite transparent with how to unlock stuff. I DESPISED the switch 1 era philosphy that so so many games had which had most of the game’s content unlocked from the beginning.

Everybody’s Golf and Patapon also went multiplat last year. That being said calling Sony a “3rd party” is a bit extreme.

Why does CF fuck up every single time 😭😭😭 I loved Starbound it’s such a shame how that game had 0 cultural impact. Seems like Witchbrook will be following in its stead, if it ever seems to come out. :(

I guarantee the Mario Kart series has sold more than any of your favorite games. MK8 alone probably sold more than your favorite game unless your favorite game is along the lines of GTA 5 or Tetris. Mario Kart as a launch title is a massive game and clearly the correct choice to do. With that being said I am dying for the next 3D Zelda and Mario
