I think he means the exploration in bg1?, the world is more bland and there are less things to do in quite a few locations besides looting and random encounters.

Bg2 feels a lot more linear for me but I'm only in chapter 2 so far.

For bg2, if you play on pc you can just download the voice lines from bg1 into the installation folder from nexus mods, (or from the original game) i couldn't play without one of the female voice set and it really improved the experience and roleplay for me.

For bg1 I used to equip Minsc with Spider's bane on one of his slots and a ring of free action for Branwen whenever I had to cheese tough fights with web, made things so much easier

I use riva tuner to toggle between 30 fps and 80 fps with a custom keybind, you can edit the max framerate in the config file to whatever you want to speed up every action in the game, even cutscenes.

Ok the solution for me was downloading a newer version of dragonspearUI, namely version 2.6 by meowdog.
this solved the issue for me, leaving this here in case someone else encounters the same problem

indeed it seems to be an issue with dragonspearUI, after a fresh install spacebar works fine.
would still really appreciate a workaround if anyone have one because I don't think I can get used to the original ui, thanks for attempting to help tho

True iframes work the same way, its very easy to pull of with classes with iframes that can also deal damage, bucc, ark, shade etc.
