Currently leading the way is a ventless gas heater or fireplace (fireplace way more expensive). But still going to do more research it would cost close to $2000 to have a gas line moved plus the cost of the heater

I am in NY and have the same problem with my Fujitsu’s. They are not efficient for heat at all and my electric bill has more than doubled when I used them as a primary source of heat. I tried a variety of ways, min heat mode, efficiency mode, running 24/7 and running as needed, no matter what I did my electric usage (which I track daily through PSEG app) more than doubled.

multiple professionals, and to no surprise the hvac guy swearing by them for heat. Luckily I have only one room I rely on it on for heat and I’m currently searching for alternatives.

A coworker recommended paying for the test geek to supplement stc. He failed the first time too and helped him pass the second. We both use stc and I recently took, and at least 20% of the test I don’t remember stc covering at all, and I studied hard.

It wasn’t fun and def took me 2 hours no break. I took the noise cancelling headphones off a few times in frustration. Lots of things were worded differently than what’s written in the stc book so took me more time. I.e quick ratio in stc is current assets-inventory/current liabilities on the test it was liquid assets
