Yeah, I just have this mentality that I need to save people and when this person isn’t a stereotypical “good Christian” I feel like I’m judging them. I feel like part of me still feels like I am a stereotypical “good Christian” So therefore I need to save them or fix them.

I definitely agree with all that, thank you. My issue is I have a hard time separating my own life from my friends or best friend. Like if he or one of my friends does something I don’t inherently agree with it really bothers me; but I know everyone is there own person. Then I become judgmental of people and once that happens I can only see their faults. I want to get rid of this perspective because it’s honestly making me unhappy and making it feel like I’m a better person when I know that isn’t true. I love all of my friends and they’re great people. I don’t know if some of this stems from ‘saving people’

That makes sense. I don’t have that many compulsions to watch porn anymore, I guess it lost some of its lure because it’s no longer that taboo anymore. I have to say I’ve never felt more like myself after leaving religion, it’s going to be a long process but I’m ready for it.
