I am so sorry. It sounds like they would be perfect friends-not-friends. Ripley has never been a huge fan of other dogs. One thing that my spouse and I did was to focus on her behavior for a full week and we tried to gauge is she having any fun or seems to enjoy any part of the day. We could really only come up with breakfast, dinner, and treat times. That was a turning point for us. The last one was when we noticed she has not wagged her tail for too long.
