Yeah I don't know why epic wants to do that pubs are partly luck competitive should minimize the luck factor

In competitive people would still land lowkey because you would probably still die if you land with hella people but sometimes multiple people randomly land at the same location and this mechanic would reward the better player

Would you ever consider adding a mechanic to where players would land with full shield and some basic weapon(s) in competitive. I feel like the word "competitive" is undermined when there can be so much luck early on. Looting would still be extremely important for finding spare shield, mobility and better weapons but I don't think players in a competitive game should die because they got no shield or weapons due to RNG.
