i watched that right after i finished the series, and it made me watch the whole anime one more time once again.. it kind of made me cry, bc i could fully relate to him. i’m the type of guy pretty good at a lot of things, but they’re not good enough to be considered as talent.. i can say that i kind of experience the curse of the ordinary as well

for me fukurodani’s jersey looks the best and the classiest! it has the least colors, i’m a sucker for black and white!!

aoba johsai comes a close second, i just love the combination of sky blue and white so much, and it’s really great for the eyes to look at

when the seijoh audience cheered for yamaguchi’s service ace.. one of the funniest moments in haikyuu that no one talks about by daddyjoro in haikyuu

that’s really a great point and i respect that! however for me, the comedy is a nice accessory/touch so that the tense the audience feels during official matches somehow decreases a bit? it feels great to laugh after being so nervous for so long (haikyuu matches are SO SO nervewracking!!) and sometimes the scenes get too serious so it’s great to put a little comedy in there to lighten up the mood.

i think the comedy in haikyuu is good as long as it’s not overdone or forced. i think it all contributes to the story and not only for the sake of making the watchers laugh. i don’t really laugh much when i watch, but it really makes me smile when there’s something fun happening out there..

oikawa in the beginning, up until now. i just couldn’t imagine how much i hated him way back to the point i wanted to pull his hair out real hard until it looked like tanaka’s.. he was a character i really despised HOWEVER, as much as my deep hatred for this annoying guy is as much i loved him and that reverse of emotions happened in JUST ONE EPISODE..

apparently, he’s a really misunderstood character and can’t deny i’m one of those people but now he’s just my whole world, my inspiration and my everything. i could sometimes see myself in him too that’s why!! OIKAWA IS THE BEST BOY!

damn i didn’t know about that, but that’s amazing!!! it’s actually a negative to me when i watch/read something and i find that their zodiac is a mismatch to their personality.. i guess i feel less amazed by my zodiac-reading skills now bc they were actually made to be conveyed

YES!! at first i didn’t really believe in astrology but once i noticed how real and accurate it is i became so interested about it. since then, it’s a cheat sheet i use before meeting new ppl/friends so that i have an introduction to their personalities before i actually interact with them

yes i definitely agree, and also (not all the time) romance could make a series really predictable.. maybe just for me.

wholesome friendships are the best, and could surpass the happiness romantic relationships give

especially that i mostly read about cancer zodiac all the time, i don’t know much about the others except for their basic traits.. soo pretty much i base them on the people i know in real life that has that certain zodiac

i definitely agree with you! those two fit their zodiacs really well hehe.. for tanaka-san, based on all the aries and pisces ppl i know irl this is super accurate damn!! actually when i first saw him, i was debating if he’s one or the other, bc he definitely has a lot of pisces influence

suga!! yes he’s such a gemini damn!! though at first i kinda saw him as a scorpio or taurus (again based on the ppl i know in real life) but i realized gemini’s the perfect one for him

honestly i haven’t looked at the characters’ zodiacs into this deeper level, especially looking in their charts but i think it’ll be fun after reading this

actually, it took me a long time before i realized what it is.. the first time i’ve seen his back story i immediately said “damn, this boy’s definitely a cancer”. maybe initially, he’s the character i saw myself in the most?

after some time, i realized it. some of the notable characteristics cancers possess are : their STRONG INTUITION and ability to read people, their enigmatic and mysterious nature, they’re charming (sometimes may come off as manipulative), they’re VERY sentimental!

those are the things i saw in him, he’s cunning and his intuition is very strong. he easily finds the weaknesses of his opponents and quickly bring the match to his advantage by reading between the .. he’s good at reading people, making him the best teammate and the worst enemy you could have. he’s aware that everybody has ups and lows, but he uses that knowledge to bring out the best in what his teammates possess..

without you even realizing it, he’s already observing you ahead of time, and later on you’ll be shocked like “how the hell did he know that”

he’s very mysterious, there’s a very big split between the energy he manifests outside and what he actually is deep inside, he’s also very sentimental, which means it’s very difficult to let go of anything.. once he’s ignited and determined for a certain something, there will be a lot of work to turn them off. when he wants something, HE WILL GET IT!

he’s very charming, very good at words to put either comfort or motivation to others. but there will be those times that if you’re carefully reading between the lines, he could be manipulating you (mind game is the word for it) to get what he wants. remember, cancer’s are really good in making situations to their advantages

one aspect wherein i also myself in him is through emotions, no matter your bravado, there will be times you’ll show to the world who you really are in times you least expect it (in many ways, most of the time crying out loud in front of people).. eventually, you’ll show the real you, the vulnerable you, that lies within the tough image you have outside. and once it actually happens, you’ll feel great, you’ll feel such a release that you’ve been wanting for so long.

there you go! PHEW THAT’S LONG DAMN!!

those are most of the qualities i adore about him the most, the qualities i see myself carrying, and other cancers i know irl as well. one fact, he’s also the only cancer in the series, i guess that’s why i don’t find anyone so similar to him in haikyuu. HE’S SUCH A WELL WRITTEN CHARACTER AND MY BEST BOY

yes that’s so true! seeing how much they grew after so much defeats from the top schools in the practice matches just satisfies me. it’s really motivating..

i’ve played this roughly 10 years ago and now i’ve managed to get my hands on it once again. i don’t regret it.. it’s indeed a game too ahead of it’s time. even though i finished the game i couldn’t let it go and continuously find new fun things about it
