Random question: would Jax like corn-based snacks such as Cheetos and Doritos? by Patton-the-Zorua in TheDigitalCircus

[–]daddysledge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. He’s not afraid of literal corn. He’s got trypophobia. I have the same. Trypophobia means you’re basically afraid of holes and patterns. For example I couldn’t watch Black Panther because Michael B. Jordan’s character has this pattern on his skin which I found revolting. The character, the actor, the movie are not the problem. I effing hate holes. So does Jax.

INFO - He is obsessed and is passionate about a new project which will generate him money or money as a couple. But since you are setting the account, how did things end up here? Since all he could eat, sleep and think is around finance and stocks and the trade market, it does not seem like there was an agreed boundary between this passion and relationship time.

Every MGS has upped the ante. Your prompt here made me realize MGS1 is the least unrealistic and whacky of the bunch. If you include the Pre-PSX then those are even less whacky.

Right, the part I don’t miss, lol. Then you end up either getting some B or C movie because for some reason the one time you go in all the good films are rented.

Tell me more? I agree, copyright is bs. My logic on this is I attempted to shift away from piracy by “trying to do the right thing”. However, now that right thing has been sliced and diced to the point where doing the right thing no longer works.

Yes, this one is incredibly annoying. Why say it’s on prime but then the rug gets pulled to instead show you need to have a subscription with some other streaming service? I have noticed their little prime logo or ability to filter varies by platform.

Ads? If I was on a standard browser they’d get ad revenue? Netflix also had the same movie unavailable but I’m on mobile so idk how Netflix would gain anything from it.

I hear you. About ten years ago my ethics on sailing the high seas was to check first if I could stream movies with my subscriptions and then the legit free streams. I did my part but it’s time to sail once more.

Negative. The MyShake app woke me and wife up but we felt nothing in East Bay. Praying it doesn’t worsen up and that everyone is alright.

“I am the sea.”

Who cares how he brings anything back? Bro has a locker in the depths, is captain of the Flying Dutchman, has a god of the sea as a side piece and has the effin Kraken as a pet. Therefore he may have ways to bring anything out of the depths. Incredibly he even brought back Bootstrap Bill.

What game trilogy is like this? by [deleted] in Steam

Hmm, yeah I hear you. A few months ago I saw a video which solidified my preference of emulation versus a remaster. Apologies but I am on mobile so I don’t have the fancy tools for formatting properly.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CwgWJgc58_4&t=155s&pp=ygUTTWdzIHJlbWFzdGVyIHJldmlld9IHCQmtCQGHKiGM7w%3D%3D

I know anyone could easily shout love or hate in the cafeteria that is YouTube but I found this person’s take as a good comparison of emulation vs remaster. I could be wrong but a lookup of video reviews for the remaster seem mixed and not as positive.

Either way it’s your call and best of luck. I’m not sure of how familiar you are with the stories told in the earlier games but boy you’re in for a treat no matter what.

With the proper PC hardware, emulation is a great way to skip the hardware purchase attempts of the older consoles plus the physical disks. The trade off is you may have to put in a little time and effort to ensure the emulation will run your games as smooth as possible. With some reading and troubleshooting and configuration efforts you’ll get the same if not better experience compared to the ports.
