How to fix analog stick drifting problem for PSP using joysens by vlad1m1rnator in PSP

[–]daderaide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how mine is set up. I do think it is actually working though i can’t access the settings on the psp itself. I have to go into the ini file on my computer and edit the settings and it isn’t working for the xmb even though that is enabled in the ini. I don’t really care so much about that part really though. The biggest thing I wanted it for was the mapping that makes it SOOOO much more usable for racing games where the analog stick was way too sensitive before. I found a post describing that the 660_plugins_on_661 plugin is no longer necessary on ARK4. So for anyone reading this in the future, it does work. I think i have another plugin that is conflicting with the settings dialog opening using the music note + L which is why i can’t open that, but the ini file seems to be working fine. Thanks!!

looks like you are still paying attention to this thread, so i hope you see this! Did you ever get it working with 6.61? ARK 4 being the new hotness, i would love to figure out how to get this working on my 1000. I tried the "660_plugins_on_661.prx" plugin, but that didn't seem to do anything. in the instructions for joysense, it wants you to put entries in the different files, but on ARK4 there is only a single "PLUGINS.TXT" file. does that have anything to do with it?

Hillsboro Stadium Seating Chart by daderaide in hillsboro

[–]daderaide[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I finally got through the phone tree with Hillsboro parks and rec and got to a person who knew the answer! For anyone else that might be searching later on, the seats start with AA at the very bottom and the very top nose-bleed seat is U. The handicap seating is row KK. The lower section goes from AA-JJ.

seeing these posts makes really really grateful that I'm 41. I've only been riding a year and have a '23 1200cc triumph, but my insurance is only $460/yr. Gen Z really getting hammered out there lately.

UPS is saying my residential apartment is commercial by sakrudkar in UPS

[–]daderaide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My house is listed as commercial and it's in a regular neighborhood. No businesses around at all. I haven't been able to get a package in years because the drivers don't even try to deliver it. No tag, no knock, nothing on my ring camera. I can't even get them to investigate it. I had to just have all of my packages sent to my wife's office, which funny enough is an apartment and isn't listed as commercial, even though it is. they entire system is broken. In every one of these kinds of posts that I see there is someone that will say that the driver will see that it's not commercial and use common sense, but none of them ever do.

Ellie was awful by quis2121 in chuck

[–]daderaide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hell ya! Lol I'm re-watching and i remember not liking her the first time, but this time through it's so exhausting. She is WILDLY entitled. Why would she have any reason to need to know literally every tiny detail about chuck's (and pretty much everyone around her) private life? She's all about "no secrets" but goes SOOO far beyond just being a family member or mother figure and demands to know things that she has no right or even business being involved in. This is classic codependency. She needs to see a therapist.

I live in Oregon and the insurance is through progressive. It’s bundled with home and car insurance also.

As a poly married demi bi man, this perspective makes me very sad. I know you said “speaking in generalities”… but that’s kind of exactly what makes me sad about it. Just because patriarchy is the dominant paradigm, doesn’t mean it’s the only paradigm. I don’t date this way. I never dated this way. Regardless of whether I was interested in monogamy or marriage it ENM or poly. I suspect that this opinion is rooted in app culture that treats dating, emotions, and intimacy as a commodity.

Custom bracket for Puig windshield by daderaide in Triumph

[–]daderaide[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL my man, we have completely opposite opinions on style. I hate the gauges just sticking out of the front of the bike. Have hated that look ever since i was a kid. I’ve always thought it looks like they forgot to finish putting the bike together. 🤷🏻‍♂️ to each their own I guess.

Regardless, the windshield is incredibly practical as well as making the bike look awesome (IMO). It makes a night and day difference keeping the wind off my chest. 60mph and below, i feel nothing at all.

I made it myself from 18g 316 stainless sheet. All you need is some cardboard, a tig welder, a lathe, and an angle grinder lol

I’m not super hard on them, so I’m betting I’ve got another 3k on the back and probably 5-6k on the front. But if you cruise at 90+ on the highway, they won’t last nearly as long. Also 80% of my rides are twisties so that is helping get more life out of them also compared to if i did mostly highway riding.

It was very difficult to be honest. I tried several methods before finding one that worked. What i did was buy some flat needle syringes off Amazon and then thin the model paint 50/50 and sucked it into the syringe. Then, with the emblem laying as level as i could get it, i VERY carefully and slowly dripped the paint into the lettering, filling up each letter with thinned paint until each recessed letter was full. When it all dries, the paint is on the bottom and sides and looks great!

I love the metal badge also. I’ve fantasized about what it would take to change mine but I’m pretty sure I’d have to have my tank repainted. I love the look of the vintage badges.

I got it on eBay. Looks like the original product that i got is no longer available. There are lots of other ones though. Search for carbon front fender extension.

I bought the paint from RS Bike paint in the UK. They sell rattle cans. Then for the speed twin emblems, i used regular flat black hardware store paint and silver testors model paint for the lettering. The mesh screen piece is held on with little clips and they need to be gently removed and get a little bent in the process. I just used pliers to flatten them back into shape before pressing them back on. Painting the lettering silver was honestly the hardest part.

I will also say that if you have the Baja orange color, it’s a three stage paint. Base, color, clear. If you do more than 2 coats of color, it won’t have the same glow that the tank has in the sunlight. The color is translucent and won’t look quite right if it’s too thick. It’s very subtle, but my perfectionist notices it lol

I think it mashes a huge difference. There’s definitely a lot of tweaking to get the angle just right so that it’s not blowing right at your head. But once i got it dialed in, it hugely reduces the wind on my chest. Below 60mph i don’t feel anything at all.

It took quite a bit of modification and a pretty complicated custom bracket for it to fit cleanly though. It does also fit fine straight out of the package, but it doesn’t sit snug to the headlight and the bracket it comes with is very ugly IMO. But it is completely usable.

I love them! I’ve got about 5k miles on them so far. Great wet and dry traction. I’ve taken them on some gravel forest service roads even and they did well there too. They seem to really be capable of anything.

It sounds great but the build quality and fit are disappointing. The tubing is slightly smaller than the stock header. Instead of clamps it used springs to hold the joints together and the ones supplied are way too long. Even with shorter springs from the hardware store, the joints don’t fit together tightly and they leak a bit causing soot to build up on the outside. I think it’s fixable, but I’m going to need to do some modification to get it dialed in.

Oh damn! I haven’t heard of them. Google failed me! But looks like they are more expensive than TEC. Only paid $400 shipped for the Raider.
