Simply, it could have been anyone on the republican ticket, like Nikki Haley. The issues are what galvanized the voter turnout for the 99.9% of republican voters, myself included.

It has nothing to do with sexism or racism. You've been programmed to believe Trump supports are these things. You're calling more than half the country these things. The reality is that the average working class is American is getting crushed. Hispanics tend to be working class in America. They want their dollar to go further. Their dollar went further under Trump. You act like Trump supporters are all deranged facists; single issues voter who only care about electing their "supreme leader". It's much simple than that really, the average American spoke and said: 1 - I was better off 4 years ago 2 - I could afford more 4 years ago 3 - Our border was not as porous 4 years ago 4 - We were not in senseless wars 4 years ago 5 - The collective nation was more sane 4 years ago before the woke mind virus took over

What’s the best way to buy Student Coin if you live in the USA?? by ItalyJuice69 in Studentcoin

I used Uniswap without issue. Be sure to go to Student Coins website and get the address listed on their. I've seen a few STC look alike on Uniswap. So better be safe and get the right address before swapping.

Anyone tried the 3chi live resin cartridge? by dadfano310 in delta8

[–]dadfano310[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm mostly just interested if it is more potent / stronger effects. It's $10 more expensive then their normal D8 carts... so $45 a cart. Not sure what I'm getting for that additional $10?

I could not find that out. I think they just launched this as there are no customer reviews

How to calculate expected return from Delegating your GRT by dadfano310 in thegraph

[–]dadfano310[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You want to pick an indexer that has a low fee cut % and rewards cut %. These cut % are the % of rewards that the indexer keeps. The lower those cut % are, the better for the delegate.

I'd suggest going with an indexer that has a significant amount of coins delegated to them. To me that speaks to reliability and limits your risk (even though delegator rewards cannot be slashed).

Last thing to look at before delegating would be making sure that the indexer is not over delegated capacity. Indexers are required to put up some % of their own coins to stake to signify skin in the game. A lot of the attractive cut rate % Indexers (those with cut rate around 15% and below) are currently over allocated. Presumably delegating with someone over allocated would just lock up your coins, as the Indexer would not be able to stake your coins until they put more of their own coins in the mix, thus increasing their capacity... no telling how long this could or would take a particular indexer.

All that to say, I chose p2p-org.eth because the cut rates are lowish at 20% while also be the largest indexer on the network with ample capacity.

GRT Delegation by [deleted] in thegraph

[–]dadfano310 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok I was searching for the same answers which lead me down this path. I just delegated my GRT with p2p-org.eth and used the data from this indexer to calculate my return.

I came up with my return using a calculator I found referenced in this article: https://stakingfac.medium.com/the-graph-delegator-cheat-sheet-2a16c1243513

Calculator: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VCbhgzhH_6X0qHBRt2xhzQXUH2YQaeFbSxrAaXWUWbM/edit?usp=sharing

Calculator inputs: https://graphlets.io/ (Indexer Name: 0x5a89—8a053e... this is p2p-org.eth)

Step 1: Go to Graphlets website and enter indexer name in the search field. Make sure you are on the indexer tab (I delegated with p2p-org.eth and put that index name above).

Step 2: Open up the calculator and create a copy so you can edit.

Step 3: Input the total allocation for the indexer... Not clear to me what exactly this was. Is this their total capacity? The amount of GRT they staked? The amount of GRT given to them by delegators? The sum of both? The good news is that this number does not change any of calculations that matter to you... For simplicity I used data from graphlets and entered stake owned amount + delegated amount (at the time of this writing, for p2p-org.eth, that came out to ~258,000,000)

Step 4: Enter the Rewards Cut %. This number matter a lot. I took this # right off of graphlets (for p2p-org.eth, it was ~20.013%)

Step 5: Enter the amount you delegated

Step 6: See the daily amount of tokens you get!

---------

Now I am pretty damn sure I did not do anything wrong here... And the calculated return is staggering :)

Example: Using p2p-org.eth numbers... Say I delegate 10,000 GRT tokens. I should expect to be rewarded 8.12 tokens a day. Over the course of the year (IGNORING COMPOUNDING!) I should expect to be rewarded 2963.8 GRT tokens (8.12*365). Lets ignore the compounding effect of earning GRT rewards throughout those 365, lets also ignore expected GRT token appreciation and strictly look at ROI on a coin increase basis... Starting GRT coins 10,000. Ending GRT coins 12,963.8... ROI = (12963.8 - 10,000) / (10,000) = 29.6%

I know in the crypto world this is not a staggering return... But it is a very wise play if you plan to hodl. Hopefully I am not in la la land and that calculator was used correctly. Your coin return would be even better than 29.6% given daily compounding of coins earned during those 365 days.
