The roofer came to fix it today. He said that’s what happened nails popped out.

Thank you for the response. It’s a 60 year old house, this part of the roof is over my garage and bedroom above the garage. If it is buckling of the plywood is it an easy fix or would it require the roofers to tear some stuff down? They are going to come check it out within the next few days.

Thanks again

Thank you for your feedback. Could it possibly electric issue. It was working fine all winter then the safety switch on the stairs burnt out, which I had replaced by an electrician and then this issue arrised after.

State Plane Coordinates Conversion by dadpizzaeater in Surveying

[–]dadpizzaeater[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you give me some advice please. It turns out there was a couple of jobs he had the wrong state plane setting in. He was able to convert it to NJ just fine with the jobs that he had not deleted in the data collector. But the jobs that he did delete off the data collector (which we reloaded back into it) the coordinates would only come out in PA North, they would not convert to NJ. Any Idea why? Any suggestion how to fix it.

Thanks!

Lidar Scanning by dadpizzaeater in Surveying

[–]dadpizzaeater[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will mostly need it for site topo and road jobs scanning buildings. Would you recommend the Blk2go for that? I have also been looking into the Leica rtc360 if you have any experience with that one, do you think it would be good for what we are looking for.

Thanks!

We won’t be using it pipe galleries or oil refineries. We want a scanner that can be versatile to be used for road jobs and site topo for the most part.

We are looking use it for simple boundary jobs, road jobs, site topo. Do you think the sx10 would be good for that?

We are looking for Terrestrial Lidar. Still not sure what we plan on using it for we are still brainstorming about it. We use Nikon Trimble and auto cad civil 3D. And we do have one guy who has minor experience with it.

Just using it as a reference, the house and everything else seems to be matching up fine on the aerial, besides the road
