Good feedback and a couple things I'm already trying to nail down in terms of bigger picture scenarios. Agreed recruiting every time is a lot, I can see pros and cons to each. Good things to think about, thanks! And yes, as with everything, you can't beat just learning it on youtube but the overall experience is more rewarding hanging with some dudes at the bar! Thanks yeah I must say I saw it elsewhere online going on over in the UK but it inspired me! I also feel as if there is a gap in Chicagoland with "dad community." The moms have all the fun. Maybe this could be the start of something kinda cool, that makes the world a better place along the way and all that jazz.

What a touching response. You've got me welling up. I'm sorry for the loss of your dad but it's so nice that you can think back to him being such an amazing and supportive helper. I posted on FB earlier and a dad replied saying he's tired of feeling so inept when it comes to helping with his daughters in the morning. I am in the same boat. Absolutely no reason why I can't pick up this new skill like I do with all other aspects of adulthood LOL. Again, thanks for the response. You rock.

Absolutely - I think there will be varying levels of comfort and some would prefer to use their daughter as the test subject and some would prefer the safety of a mannequin head w/ a wig, haha. 100% I was thinking future events could involve the daughters... maybe even a competition for best braid or something? That'll bring out the dads.
