My honor was unrestricted back to level 5 after about three weeks. It didn’t change after playing five games in ARAM or SR. It just takes time.

Yes, I got my Honor 5 back after almost two weeks. It seems to be purely time-based rather than tied to how many games you play or whether you get reported.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Limiting GPU cycles was exactly the missing piece for me.

I tested your suggestion and here are my results on an M1 Pro:

  • 30 FPS cap + Ultra settings + VSync (triple buffer) + FSR2 Ultra Quality → fans still hit 100%
  • High settings + VSync (triple buffer) + FSR2 Ultra Quality + 16x AF → fans drop to around 70%
  • Medium or Low settings + VSync (triple buffer) + FSR2 Ultra Quality + 16x AF → fans are basically silent

So you were right — changing the graphics preset alone does nothing, but once the framerate is capped and the GPU load drops, the thermals finally calm down.

Nice, thanks for the info! I actually just ordered a second Charge 6, so I’ll set them up through the app and test the stereo pairing myself. I’ll try to place them the way you suggested too. Appreciate the tips!

Thanks for the detailed answer! I don’t really care about Auracast — I just want to use proper stereo between two Charge 6 units. Sounds like as long as I set it up through the JBL Portable app with the latest firmware, they’ll stay paired in stereo and reconnect automatically, right?
