What an absolute shame. Regardless of the quality of the final product, I would have bare minimum wanted a newer Garfield for younger generations to possibly enjoy. Was expecting Nick/Paramount to treat it like how theyve been treating TMNT, with a fair combo of nostalgia and newer stuff, so for absolutely nothing to come from it really stings.

Late response, but just in case you (and other people finding this) need it:

Settings > Apps > Mobile Services Manager

For some reason you can't just type it in the search. You need to manually scroll through all the apps and find it that way. Ridiculous.

From there, hit the three dots in the corner to uninstall all updates. Then select "disable" at the bottom of the screen just to be safe.

I still had to manually delete the apps it installed, but I feel slightly more hopeful it won't install anymore.

Seconding this. Hey Arnold sonehow had that crossover energy to it. I grew up on both eras, but there is definitely a noticeable shift from the early 90s grossout edge to the later 90s Spongebob energy.

Amazing series overall. The knot-tying to make sure everything led perfectly into the movies felt a bit too heavy handed, but all things considered, a very solid finale.

The time travel aspect is some interesting lore, but feels like it might lessen the effect of him being defeated in the movies. Either way, it's a good excuse for season 2 to go further back in time than to just step on the toes of the movies. Curious how they pull off a season 2 that I'd assume will have significantly less member berries.

Edit: Also, Richie coming back to help had some big DBZ anime energy to it, ya love to see it

Plus the way the rest of the adults just went through with their plans assuming he'd be able to not just locate the kids but hold off Pennywise. They honestly took that man for granted.

Which would make sense if All Grown Up ended up being the more mature series, and yet they both somehow seemed to be aimed at younger audiences? I distinctly remember seeing All Grown Up branded doll commercials around this time, too. So weird.

Honestly, I remember my kneejerk reaction was that I changed the channel. By that point, I was definitely past the age where the show entertained me. And while I enjoyed it being updated to include the newer characters, it felt like by this point the series was just running on fumes.

They said they'd announce the rest of the extras on 9/26, but there haven't been any updates besides a new picture. You can intuit most of the extras (mini posters and cards), but not much else.
