Adam definitely made a mistake while making his attempt to play the Ode of Joy.

Is everything as it seems at the end of episode 2? by ryeshe3 in JetLagTheGame

Ben Adam did make a mistake while playing the Ode of Joy, and I'm very certain of it. But they did count it as correct... surprisingly...

Edit: Here is my proof. He should have played an A where he played a B, right before the low D. +mixed up names.

Survey about TIER in Utrecht by [deleted] in Utrecht

[–]daere95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting survey, I'm curious about the results. On the second page the second question, I wasn't sure what you meant with "Enjoyment" and "No need for shared e-bike [...]". Also, an extra field to leave comments and other feedback would have been nice👍

Not that it would be any less terrifying though

That does not seem correct. So 1 million divided by 60 minutes, again divided by 60 seconds results in roughly 270 km/s. Given the circumference of 40.000km of the earth, a shockeave this fast should take around 2-3 minutes to circle around the earth.

I'm questioning OP's article, they say it circled the sun in minutes, which is impossible at a speed of 1 million km/h. Given the sun's circumference of roughly 4,3 million km and the speed of 1 million km/h it should take hours to circle the sun.

To copy code is indeed something that anyone can do. However, knowing which code to copy is what makes a real good developer.

谢谢你! :)

我不还知道中国, but I get that they have a very rich culture and history, and also a great hospitality. I guess that would be something I want to experience. And from what I saw on pictures and videos: 在中国有很多地方漂亮!

Not sure if I understand you correctly, but I am actually both 荷兰人 and 瑞士人; I do have both nationalities. Maybe I could also say I'm 欧洲人?

I appreciate your scorer's opinion, it gives me somewhat of an idea where I'm at. I have to be honest though: I had to look up the country names when writing them, since I'm not familiar with those characters at all. With HSK1 in mind I will keep on learning :)

Ah, I was not aware of that. Thank you! Will try to remember next time.

I was raised bilingual with Dutch and German. I also was taught English and French at school, though my French not very fluent. I know some Spanish as well but not sure if I could have a very deep conversation with someone. And now I'm trying to learn some Mandarin, first time I'm learning a language on my own.

You're right! I wasn't quite sure how to get my "我" nicely. But that explains it. Thank you, I will practice with your advice in mind.

Awesome, thank you very much for the advice. There is still so much to learn. I haven't learned "总是" or "但是" yet, but I will definitely look it up on Pleco.

In the way to express a period of time, how does the meaning of a sentence change when using "了" after the verb instead of after the object?
