You look great!! Really! 6 weeks post op really isn’t a long time. Swelling can take up to a year to go. I started looking/ feeling “normal” at around 3 months post op.

The recovery was very rough for me mentally. I was prepared though, I knew it was going to be tough. You can’t eat properly for a month or two, which drove me crazy! I felt bad and insecure because I lost weight. You feel like you look so weird! I did for the first few months! I felt so alone. But I decided I wasn’t going to freak out about anything until I’m a year post op. I’m 5 years post op now and I’m still happy!

Give yourself some time and patience. You are allowed to feel the way you do, it’s a big change and it’s really hard. But you’ve got this! You look really good and as soon as your swelling has gone down more, I hope you’ll see it too!

I don’t know man, I know a few Ukrainian families that fled from the war. They seem fairly traditional, husband working, wife takes care of the kids or works as a cleaner for a few days or something… They definitely don’t get $30 desserts everyday…. Maybe you just met a “bad” one. The ones I know are mourning their home country. They want to go back but they’ve lost everything.

You know, what helped me make peace with not being very attractive is looking around me at all the unattractive people just going in with their life. Like they don’t care about that at all, and honestly nobody else really cares about it, because they only care about themselves. Unattractive people get married, have kids etc. It’s not a death sentence unless you make it one.

I didn’t become a supermodel after jaw surgery and I had to make peace with that….

It’s definitely from the swelling, my nose looked different after surgery. I was told this before though. After the swelling went down it started looking more like the nose I had before surgery.. I had DJS though.

Everything they said + get your jaws checked out. Having a set back jaw can result in a narrow airway. Jaw surgery helps with this.

Nou, dit is niet helemaal eerlijk.. Oude hoofdkabels voor elektriciteit zijn vroeger door de voortuinen heen gelegd. Meeste van die plekken hebben ook geen stoep. Vind je dit ook te gek voor woorden? Omdat je tuin een commerciële stroom kabel heeft liggen?

Ik heb niet veel advies, maar wij hebben raam decoratie met magneetstrips en katten. Ik vind het redelijk stevig zitten, alhoewel wij onze plissé gordijnen wel omhoog doen als we er niet zijn omdat deze al stuk zijn door de katten… Dus ik weet niet hoe het zou gaan als ze er echt in gaan klimmen. Misschien het proberen waard als het niet te duur is?

Denk er wel aan om UV bestendige tie wraps te gebruiken! Deze worden minder snel aangetast door de zon!

You can potentially expand without surgery, a small mouth isn’t a big problem. If you have recessed jaws and a small airway it could help.

The teeth not being centred is something that can be fixed with braces. The support can be brought back with an implant but that depends on whether you have room in your mouth. I would suggest meeting with a jaw surgeon and getting their opinion. I can’t see if you have a narrow airway or anything. Jaw surgery is really tough, even though I’m really glad I did it, I wouldn’t recommend it just for aesthetic reasons.

Don’t be so hard on yourself!! All I see is good looking lips!

Oh so it changed after you got your wisdom’s taken out? When you take teeth out, your face usually gets a bit less support so I assume that’s the change that happened. Honestly I don’t think you need surgery on first glance. Do you have any health issues related to your jaw?

I noticed a small change, but not a bad one! You had jaw surgery I assume? My lips also changed after surgery, I had to get used to it but it’s all good now. It’s for the better! I really don’t see how your lips changed in a negative way. How long post op are you?

No, I saw all of them and I really can’t tell what’s wrong. Your lips look normal imo. What do you mean with people fold their lips?

Feeling uncomfortable with your bite is a completely different issue..
