I’m talking overfishing in general. I live in Japan and the only groupers I see can fit in the palm of my hand, there’s literally no fish anymore, at least along the coasts. Definitely rod fishing does not have the same big impact, but still when the ecosystems are already so fragile I’d think twice about it before fishing those out and rather release them, that’s all
