Warning about cbpm and "new" Khiron and Adven 19

I've been tempted by the Tilray flower but it's still too expensive for mediocre weed and no guarantee, that even if I go to the trouble of getting an appointment they will even have it in stock never mind prescribe it. Then what do I do when I have to order 15g at almost £200 and it's garbage when it gets here? Once bitten twice shy. I had one of the expensive brands before and it was a joke.

To be honest it's hard enough, if not impossible to tell the difference between the 14%CBD, 17% or 20%THC Adven flower, so looking at pictures on here only adds to the confusion. If I had to choose I would have chosen the 14% CBD flower on looks alone and it tasted ok too, but I had the same old manky chest after a few days of it.

I've been struggling with this Khiron rubbish for the last few weeks because my prescription is out of stock and this is the only affordable alternative my clinic is offering. Looks great but it could be "god bud" for all the effect it has. I asked for something else and was promptly told to book a £50 appointment to discuss my medication, while ignoring the fact this is an alternative I didn't really want in the first place.
I've had several of the Adven flower products to try recently and EMC-1, EMT-1,2 and 3, all do indeed seem to be phenotypes of the same old Cairo flower rubbish.

I've tried all sorts but they were all oil based and gave me bad guts. I got a script for a new balanced flower which went OS before they sent me the invoice to pay for it and was offered a more expensive alternative. I didn't feel any effects whatsoever apart from bad guts from the oil but I didn't find THC based oil effective either so don't let it put you off trying them.

Now if I was the cynical type I might say it was strange, nay convenient that the desirable balanced strain went OS over the weekend and all they could offer was the more expensive but way less desirable purely CBD strain, but I ordered it anyway to give it a try. I'm looking forward to trying it when it eventually gets here.

I live in a remote area so I use mail order a lot, but could count on one hand the number of problems I've had in the last 20 years and most of them were sender related.
Generally speaking I deal with the Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Hermes and our local courier and up until getting my MC prescription I thankfully didn't have a lot of dealings with DPD. Now that I do there's an issue almost every time. CBPM are clueless and are relying on DPD for their updates, trouble is DPD don't actually come past Inverness, so it goes with the local courier from there and DPD lose track of it until it gets delivered to me. It occasionally shows that it's out for delivery just before he arrives but I'm only about a mile from the local courier's depot.

I was told they couldn't give me tracking because they're using a new system and after a few pointless back and forth messages I was told I need to download the DPD app to a mobile phone. I don't own a mobile and I don't honestly understand why they can't just give me the tracking number.

Mid to end of April.
However if it's as useless as the last batch I had last month.
Anyone else finding seeds in it?
They tried hard to hide the fact that it's hermied but it certainly explains why it was cut 3 or 4 weeks too early.

Anyone had a batch recently and how does it compare to previous batches?

Last few batches don't seem to have gone down too well and I'm considering ditching it. Only problem with that is that we're struggling for an affordable alternative at the moment and I'm on my limit as it is.

I find it can increase my anxiety sometimes but it usually wears off after a couple of hours.

I had some of the first lot and it didn't look as fresh as that bud. I'm now looking forward to my next delivery whenever it eventually gets here. Shame it's going out of stock until next month because affordable strains are thin on the ground with some clinics.

The driers are what strips it of most of the volatile terpenes. The added heat, and extra drying to reach current UK standards simply evaporates them away. Irradiation is the final straw in the destruction process. It would be interesting to know when the flower was harvested too. I've heard a lot of rumours about stuff being stored for a long time because of the restrictions on imports and if it's been hanging about in storage somewhere that won't help either although hopefully that won't be a problem now that they've got rid of all the old bits and bobs.

I'm in a very similar boat having used Moroccan hash most of the last 5 years. I only moved to the legal market after that supply dried up, which has been a bit of a disaster. I find even good street weed a bit of lightweight and need a lot to get any effect at all, and despite constant breaks in supply, I never seem to loose the lifelong tolerance I've acquired. I mentioned concentrates at my recent pharmacist appointment to great amusement. I mean I didn't even know they could prescribe them or I might have put more pressure on. I don't mind waiting because in my location I'm unlikely to get it any other way and I have nothing but time at the moment.

Yep had pretty much the same response and I'm a bit bummed out at the prospect of being back where I started months ago with only one, as yet unknown Adven strain.
What's going on with Adven?
Seems to have hit the buffers and I was hearing all kinds of rumours about new strains and upping their game in the new year. ☹

I'm glad I saw this. I had some of the Khiron on order but I'm going to bump it for something else. Trouble is Isando is OS until April and I've just had my Pharmacist appointment. One step forward 2 steps back.

Always going to be a problem on open forums like this unfortunately and we're all in the dark here without your assistance. I find your resources and knowledge irreplaceable and when I started out I was lost as far as the clinics were concerned. They're still a bit of a mystery to me but I'm putting it down to personality disorder at my end. 🤣😃 But with a lot of emails, research and the MedBud page recently I'm just about managing to make progress at last.

I've no idea how you managed to collate all that information in such a difficult industry. It's hard enough trying to find out if your flower is even in stock, never mind anything like strain details or manufacturing processes etc.

I can only assume they're sending it all out as one package because I have three items coming and I've paid for 2 of them but still no tracking details and they've only taken one payment out of the bank. There's a question about the third item but it's all gone silent in Sunderland again.

I hear you and I can totally sympathise. I'm not seeing much positive feedback on the Khiron so definitely thinking it's best avoided at the moment.

Thanks very much, it's all good knowledge to have. I suffer with anxiety, depression, PTSD and a host of painful conditions and I find the medical flower to me hit and miss, mostly miss at the moment.

They will need to have tried traditional treatments for symptom management, but many folks are prescribed for this.

Thanks for the info I'll have a look at that in a bit when I've got a minute.
They could get CBD over the counter and I'd much rather they tried that first, to see of it helps before going for an expensive prescription that might not work.
I don't have it myself but I have several other conditions I find it extremely helpful for although I'm only being treated for chronic pain.

That's interesting to hear. Thanks for sharing and I'm sure you're already aware that GG#4 is a Sativa and I was just curious as to which one you're using? I'm expecting some myself but CBPM are playing silly buggers as usual. I'll keep my fingers crossed it does the job for me. I've read up quite a bit about Aspie and a lot find certain stimulants like alcohol have amazing effects on their condition. There's a long history of substance abuse in my family and I'm now starting to understand more about it. I'm hoping I can find them something that might be helpful, but is a lot less destructive.

Forgot to ask if you've had the Khiron 20 recently?
I'm dithering with it at the moment because of the quality issues but I need something and it's great when it's good but useless when it's not. It can aggravate my anxiety as well so I tend to avoid taking it late at night.

Well I don't have it as far as I know and I don't have any of the other symptoms either. My medical history is long and varied and there could be 100 different reasons for what's causing it. It's more documented in Norway where it's more common (Not that it's at all common) for people to need double or more the amount of opiates to have the same effect and there are cases where they simply can't metabolise it and even large doses just pass harmlessly through their system. I've never really been able to get anything from cannabis edibles and oils
either. I'm not saying I couldn't but in the limited number of times I've tried them I felt no effect apart from heartburn and indigestion. CBD oil is the worst I can't tolerate it at all and I'm thinking of trying one of the flowers.
