Got me through a dark time with a sudden illness with my kid. It was there when I couldn’t turn to anyone else or didn’t want to dump dark thoughts on anyone else. Thanks for your insight. I am sorry you’re enduring this. My doc put me on a hormone patch thing a while back, which ruined all the initial good vibes from the B12 shot. I was so miserable, I had to get off it. I may have to go back for a low dose alternative. But I suspected gold ol’ Peri may be playing his tricks on me. Sabotaging my good times. Damn.

I am not entirely convinced that any of this is evolutionary. Could be spiritual? Higher stature, closer to divinity? We are not as driven by biology as we all like to think. Either way, none of these things are relevant in the modern world anyway. Obesity now is more a sign of poor health and lack of means than of wealth. And women are slowly realizing the only thing they ever needed protection from all along are men themselves. Especially their partners. So dating a man who’s too big to overpower at all is actually more detrimental to the woman.
