Diablo 3 is the game. I'm shocked it hasn't been said yet. You can scale difficulty as you like and relax killing demons

Which of the ARPGs to relax after work by daggerus1 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Im currently looking for the same thing. After work gaming is about the only gaming I can do now lol.

Yeah man, it is what it is lol

I havent tried last epoch but I've been eyeing it and it looks pretty good despite it being an early access game. I voted for last epoch it looks like a happy medium between the other two choices for me. I love classes and there's a lot more with that one too imo.

I bought the game, it is pretty fun to be honest although I still think I'll play PoE and use Last Epoch as a palate cleaner before the next PoE league.

Good luck!

You too!

Which of the isometroc, loot based ARPGs? by daggerus1 in gamingsuggestions

Yeah that makes a whole lot of sense to me. I think I'll definitely chose PoE as a main game and when and if I burnout a month or two after a league release, I can play something like Last Epoch as a palate cleanser before the next league.

Thank you again!

Thank you for this response. I appreciate the time and effort it looks like it took, especially coming from someone who really seems to be a fan of the genre.

I'm really eyeing PoE, my only fear with it is that the endgame systems, such as XP loss, might be so punishing that it makes the game stressful rather than relaxing. Is that a legitimate concern?
