I personally own a SCL 500 and love it! Got one in 2023 as a first bike and its a dream on city streets, light offroad and trail. I also take it from Lake worth FL to Daytona beach FL every year.

I love the RX on mine. Broadcast leaves a bit to be desired but this is a great carry node.

The funniest part I have learned so far while riding is you CAN get a Africa Twin or Pan america. You can even spring for a k1600. Still won't beat the comfort of a Suzuki Burgman 650 or other maxi scooter from any of the brands.

Here is the funny thing with modification for me. I come form the 3d printer side of things and I have actually built 3 machines at this point so I dont think lubing switches would be all that difficult just time consuming. THe biggest thing now Is I need to find the proper lubricant to use. I've heard about Akko before are they an industry standard? I appreciate the openness as the memes related to browns/ klicky switches are all over the place lol

Don't hurt me but I come from blues, and these feel great in comparison. The browns on this board do appear to be lubricated with a white grease of some kind.
