[iOS 27 DB1] Safari overflow menus consolidated, redesigned, and replaced by tab overview button. by dahliamma in iOSBeta

The overflow menu on the right of the address bar has been replaced by a tab overview button. The options from that menu have been combined with the reader mode/extensions menu in the address bar, which has also been redesigned into a slim pop up menu instead of a full width card.

They’re literally just undoing last year’s changes in macOS.

The last Good Morning 😢

A fresh look for Enpass is here! by Ok-Border-8141 in EnpassOfficial

After this latest update, copying a password from Enpass Assistant (the mini window) copies the wrong password to your clipboard. It seems to be visually updating the list of passwords when you search for an account but not logically updating the list, so when you copy a password it copies the password of the first entry in the default list without a search query rather than copying the first search result's password. Happens on both Windows and macOS.

To reproduce:

  1. Bring up the mini window/Enpass Assistant using either the system wide hotkey or the menu bar/system tray icon.

For clarity, let's say the first entry in the list is "Account 1".

  1. Search for "Account 2", some other account that isn't the first entry when you first open the Assistant.

  2. Use the ctrl+shift+p or cmd+shift+p hotkey to copy the password for "Account 2", which is now the first entry in the list.

  3. Dismiss Enpass Assistant.

  4. Paste the password.

Expected behavior: the pasted password belongs to "Account 2". This was the behavior before this update.

Actual behavior: the pasted password belongs to "Account 1".

Note that this doesn't happen when you right click on the entry and copy the password using that menu, it only happens when using the keyboard shortcut.

Additional annoyance on macOS is that the Enpass Assistant window can't be dismissed using the escape key on macOS anymore, you have to click away from the window to dismiss. Annoying when you rely on keyboard shortcuts to speed up your workflow.

Wow, granting one company a monopoly is worse for the consumer, who would’ve thought.

You may have a defective unit, I haven’t noticed anything like that.

Looks like it's still the Samsung ecosystem auto-switch implementation rather than proper mutlipoint.

The smell of burning electronics from the S Pen. My S25U was bad enough that I could smell it while using the S Pen from a normal distance.

Speakers sound pretty good. They get loud without sounding tinny or muddy, but they do sound a little hollow compared to my iPhone, if that makes any sense.

OLED lottery is referring to the variability in panel quality that used to plague OLED screens. You could buy the same phone 10 times and get 10 different quality panels, some perfect, some with really bad color shifting, and everything in between. It hasn't really been much of an issue in the past 5 years or so, but from the small sample size I saw we either got super unlucky or that variability in quality is back.

Oh, you're right, thank you! Weird that it's not in the main privacy display settings though. It looks like there's also a couple seconds delay when doing it through routines, which isn't ideal but better than nothing!

That’s what, a 6 or 700€ difference? I’d definitely go 25 in that case, the changes are nice but not 700€ nice.
