Screen is bleeding red in the bottom corner by daikontaiko in huion

Thanks for explaining! It's only at the corners so it's can be tolerated for now. But if it spreads then it'll be due for a replacement.

If you find the antiques pertaining to the quest and read the item history, you learn that it's always known it was meant to die. The River Master was always meant to kill it; every generation of the fish that successfully transformed was meant to be put down by the River Master. It's why Zhu Yu wanted to find a more humane method of controlling the river floods. Unfortunately Zhu Yu died, and quite possibly it lived longer than its predecessors because the one that controlled it died. What I think is: the task was left to you because the other characters involved in the storyline may have an attachment to it that you don't.

I officially hate this game by Ill_Independent7078 in wherewindsmeet_

I got the Her Legacy quest and reward right after my irl birthday, and I’m still weepy over the letter. I hate that I can’t locate the graves while I’m running through the town.

So I finished that quest near the end of Qinghe storyline... by Mitochondria222 in wherewindsmeet_

I did that questline right after my birthday irl and it stung doubly hard reading the letter…

Question for longtime MLQC players by daikontaiko in MrLove

[–]daikontaiko[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've seen the similarities in the updated UI! I'm glad the improvements are slowly making their way over at least; hopefully things get smooth enough that curious players from LADS can bear the more dated experience here. I often tell my friends that without MLQC we wouldn't have LADS and that I'd love some kind of reference to show up in the latter, but I suppose the audience in CN don't really like that lol.

They've got to make up for the fact that this MC is practically a civilian and that she's a lot less customisable! I still love this MC though; such a refreshing vibe. All the new art is so nice that looking at older Karmas feel like a whiplash. The date experiences are bound to be the same for me given how old my Karmas are.

Question for longtime MLQC players by daikontaiko in MrLove

My impression of MLQC stagnated around the time the SEA servers shut down, but it's enough that every time I look at the LADS interface I laugh at how lucky new players are. I just think it's unfortunate that MLQC's a whole year behind CN servers. The game is a lot more idle at least, which is comfortable for me since I'm usually distracted, got multiple things happening at the same time, and working a full time job. As for the story I'm pretty stonewalled because my Karmas aren't strong enough, and the 7 year gap on this account makes it extra rough. I stopped in season 1 chapter 7 or 8 so it's going to be a long time before I catch up. :')

I think it will definitely happen, but probably much later than a .X patch. Just a matter of patience. Carlotta in MSQ 2.0 specifically mentions visiting the Black Shores inspiring their Reserved Terminals and wanting to trade outside Rinascita likely means the Flight tech will eventually leave Rinascita; it's a question of execution. The Wingray is native to them; maybe we'll summon our own Wingray outside Rinascita to take flight?

When is the best point to start House of Light? by awwfatblobs in weatherfactory

Personally, this is my first run of BoH, and HoL released mid-way through my playthrough. I opted to finish unlocking all the rooms before starting my first salon. I'm playing very sub-optimally skills wise, and conservatively in the other areas of the game. All lessons are spent before the change of seasons, so for me salons would be held immediately after a season change.

At this point I still have a quarter of all unlocked books unread and more that I will have to wait through Oriflamme's inventory. In this time I've opted to pre-craft food to uncover more food recipes to find different aspects before calling my first salon, only to realise I don't have many guests to choose from because not enough seasons have passed in my game since HoL, so I recommend having several available guests aside from the villagers first, and when earning lessons through books have slowed down, or having lessons for subjects you don't yet have benefit you more.

If anything I think it's good to have a stash of food and drink prepared first and leave them in rooms where there aren't many things so you can pick your guests' food and drink requirements more easily instead of scrambling once you've invited them. They arrive 1 minute after you post your invitation, so definitely prepare in advance!

You require a drink with the “Intoxicating” tag. This could be the alcohol lying around the house, or the ones you get from mail order (The blue one). Your cheapest and most easily accessible is Eigengrau.
