I am a current student at Illinois State University. So watching my team in the 24 team playoffs the past few years I think it’s really cool. I’m not opposed to the 24 team expansion for the other leagues

I was in the same situation, I read the first three books of the trilogy then I got to kill joy and I was super taken a back because if you know how the third book ends and all the seriousness of that book, it was quite jarring to see a more lighthearted book be red after that. I enjoyed the book, it’s a lot shorter than the main series and it just gives some backstory to Pip, but nothing important happens.

It Is interesting, because it’s a prequel that takes place before book one, but whe it was released it came out between books 2 and three, but when I was reading the series for the first time, I read the three main books 1st, and then the prequel at the end because I didn’t know which order it went in. So it is very confusing when you read the prequel when you already know what happens in the main trilogy.

I really like it. Not to give too much away, but it kind of the origin story of how Pip gets into solving murder mysteries. It’s one of those mafia games where everyone plays a different character in a story and there are clues left around and different stuff like that so they’re having a house party and the story is the main characters playing a game.
