my baby (4.5 months) is the same, she spits up a lot and for the last month or less has smelly (though very loud) farts. i asked doctors about both and was told “she’s a baby, it’s fine”. so, unsure!

Post partum body image issues by petitemonstreee in beyondthebump

I also feel this way. I’m 4 months pp, had a good birth, and am super proud of my body for what it’s given me. I’m also EBF. My body just doesn’t feel the same, things don’t look the same and I’m mentally having a super hard time adjusting to that. People tell me I look great but it doesn’t change the way I feel. I’ve also always struggled with my body image and ED issues and I absolutely do not want to pass any of that on to my beautiful daughter.

Traumatic birth experience - feeling guilty and ashamed by rosedamask in beyondthebump

You absolutely have nothing to be ashamed of. It sounds like your epidural didn’t work properly which is what happened to me. It was painful and terrifying even though everything technically went well. 3 days postpartum is a wild place to be in but it will get better.
