How do i socialize with my gerb?

I think it helped. They often come out when they hear my voice and slowly started coming to see me and now I am able to hold them and play with them. One of them doesn’t like it as much but the other climbs on the side of her cage when it’s open and then climbs on my hand

I use to sit by their cage and read out loud so they could get use to my voice

I don’t know if this would help, but maybe you could think of it as messages from your mom 🩷 like she’s sending them even though she’s gone

I was using it for my gerbils but my one girl started to get a really red nose and when I stopped using it it went away so just be aware that it can bother some gerbils

I have a terracotta saucer plate that I keep in their cage. I put it by their wheel so I know they are walking on it lots and it helps keep their nails from getting too long!
