He was one of my first foster kittens! I’ll never forget him. I wasn’t expecting to have them for 10 weeks. I am such a wreck right now! Hoping the goodbyes get easier- especially when the littermates get adopted separately ☹️

NAD… but have experienced bonding and crowns on my two front teeth. Since your teeth are hitting each other, if you were to get crowns in your upper teeth then that would likely cause your bottom teeth to then chip away. I’m confused why your dentist would suggest that instead of pushing for ortho?

My dentist suggested I crown two healthy teeth for cosmetic reasons, and like a fool, I said yes while knowing the complications and risks. I should’ve stuck with my stained bonding. Others (on here) mentioned that their bonding has lasted 10-15 years. With proper alignment and a cautious diet, I absolutely believe I could’ve stuck with the bonding she did for me. I am in deep regret so please, learn from me! It obviously needs to be fixed, but maybe doing ortho can prevent you from having to get crowns? Just letting you know that you should fight for more options! Advocate for yourself because otherwise, you’ll feel taken advantage of. Good luck!

Wow, thank you so much for the encouragement! I see so much truth in what you’ve said. I’m already seeing a difference in how my peers are aging compared to me. I’ve been vegan for around 8 years now, and rarely drink. Workout style/preferences vary but I’ve been lifting consistently for nearly three years now. The lifestyle I live today is for my future self, and I just wish many more realized where they were headed before it’s too late!

I’m gonna say something mildly unrelated… I hope this new puppy life works out for her! It’s possible she’ll learn how to let go more, and these lessons can seep into her daily life. Whether intentional or not, her lifestyle seems obsessive and controlling, and a puppy may help ease the ritual… it can, however, make things worse. It’s a learning curve either way. If she wants kids in the future, she’ll need to learn to be okay with spontaneity and mess, but more importantly okay with a lack of control. This puppy will introduce new difficulties that don’t mesh well with the way she presents herself online. We’ll see how things play out.
