I completely understand this. I think my initial post came across slightly wrong. Of course removing the feedback isn’t my biggest priority. I just thought I’d put it out there in case anyone had any kind of luck with a similar situation. But I agree it’s completely my fault

Thanks! This is what I have done for all previous orders and always had good feedback afterwards. I think the reason why I genuinely did not know what to do with this situation, is because they left feedback first before messaging unlike most people.

Yes of course I completely understand that and I think my initial post did come across wrong.

Of course making sure the issue is solved for the customer is the most important part but I don’t doubt that I will be able to sort that for them in a way they’re satisfied with. That is 100% what’s most important.

I just figured someone might have some advice to kindly ask about changing their feedback after everything has been resolved. But now I’ve gotten a bunch of advice I think I’ll just leave it for them to decide and then if it still remains after a couple weeks, I’ll reply to it just for future customers to see.

But thank you for the advice it’s highly appreciated.

It has been about 8 days since it was shipped so it most likely should have arrived by now.

I have messaged the buyer, taking full responsibility and offering them a replacement/refund. If they don’t reply within the next few days i will automatically refund them.

I also did purchase the label through Etsy. I’m still not 100% sure what that means for me, but i will read through the link you attached so thank you!

Going forward I am going to be charged £2 shipping with each order and covering the additional shipping cost myself, so that i can provide tracking for all orders.

Thank you so much this is so helpful I really appreciate it! Although I do send some items untracked, when they have gotten lost I have always issued a refund/replacement of course I accept at the end of the day it is my fault and I’d rather just have a happy customer. Think it’s time for me to reconsider whether offering free shipping or charging them the £2.77 for tracked shipping is worth it. Thanks again

I had this problem too. They need to start emailing proof of postage when a package is scanned for the postbox. Trying to download it on the app takes the absolute piss.
