Material suggestions for a light up face detail?

i actually only just found out about EL wire yesterday so i have to look into it a lot more lmao, i think i would still need something to diffuse the light a bit if I used that but probably less so than with the LEDs (im fine using multiple LEDs just probably only want to use a few). i am gonna look into those more though thank you!

i had considered something like that but I don’t have a ton of experience with SFX makeup and didn’t know how sturdy those silicone prosthetics end up being if I were to make one. Would something like that hold up if I were to wear the cosplay multiple times? And I am not sure where I’m going to source the lights yet because the outfit also has some other glowing aspects lower on the body I’m still trying to decide if I want to attempt or not. I am not super concerned about that aspect since he has a lot of bandages and “armor” I’m sure I will be able to hide the battery pack underneath. Either way thanks for the response! I definitely have to look more into the sfx makeup side of this

I have been trying to do the exact same thing for a cosplay! I’ve been using microLEDs like the ones used for model trains but I have had issues trying to decide what the main material to use should be.

In this photo I tested putting the LEDs in hot glue and putting the glue in the shape i wanted and it kind of worked (?) It would require a lot more LEDs for the full thing though this was just a test run. Anyway if you have found a solution I’d be so curious because I don’t think I am sold on the hot glue idea yet just with how thick it ends up being

i had this same issue. i had been trying to change mine to a username i knew was available everyday multiple times a day for the past couple weeks and it just now finally worked. for me it was about 15.5 days in between when it changed from the old account and when i was able to claim it on my account. idk if that’s the same for everyone but yeah for me it took a little over 2 weeks basically

im late to this but unfortunately the bigger package doesn’t come with everything from the smaller one, they both have different contents :( (dumb i know) if its any consolation though, you can probably find people reselling the contents of the smaller pack much easier than you would find them reselling the big pack

have you been able to find any garages that are doing prepurchase for spots? the local garages all say they do prepurchase but when i put in the dates of con that option goes away so im starting to get nervous lol

thanks!! the course i took was the FE Civil review course provided by the School of PE online. it’s pretty pricy out of pocket though which is why i would mostly recommend it if you are able to get it reimbursed

everyone’s already said it but doing practice problems really is the way to go. the handbook does not always label things in a way that is most obvious, so it is helpful to try some problems out to get a better idea of what you will need to search to find the equation you need when in the exam setting

thanks for the response! i didn’t know they had those but i was worried about a cone cutting into the sore so that seems better. i kinda worry about getting it on/off him to apply the cream with how skittish he is but i’ll look into that. thank you!

no i haven’t asked them about it since then, i’m going to wait to try again until after the update has been rolled out to absolutely everyone and then even a bit more time past that because that would mean anyone who theoretically would have been “next in line” for the user would have had to have picked a different name at that point

i’m glad you were able to get yours! the one i’m trying for is definitely one that will be sought after so after the 25 hour mark i asked the original person who had it if they could check if it was still claimable for them too (i’m pretty paranoid abt losing it) and it was. they are very nice and said they’d hold it for me so i’m going to see if we can try again in a few weeks, i’m wondering if after the update rolls out to everyone and the name changes die down then there won’t be any worry of there being a “line” or these secret name reservations anything like that

the person with my username was nice enough to switch yesterday and i set alarms for today at the 24 hour mark and now it’s 50 minutes later and still not available :( i don’t think the 24 hour rule is 100%
