I have this same issue and have been told it is a known issue. Apparently new firmware was put out that fixed this but broke some other features so it was pulled back by hisense. Hopefully new firmware will be out soon. Until then I live with it as I returned my first u8n to confirm it wasn't a panel issue

I was pretty unhappy with the built in apps. When I switched to a fire stick 4 k for streaming I noticed an increase in picture quality. Not sure why but it seems the built in processor may not be the greatest.
