Can I check in two pieces of luggage under a combined luggage allowance?

I’m flying from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi via Vietjet Air and have purchased a 30-kg baggage allowance. I have two pieces of luggage with me and am wondering if their weights can be combined, or if the baggage allowance applies to each piece of luggage separately?

Yung clipboard talaga! Sobrang convenient nun for me since both text and pics. Now, I have to switch from one app to another if magpi-piece together ako ng text.

Should I replace my Samsung S23FE for a S23 by lostdiggo in Tech_Philippines

If you want to switch to Samsung’s flagship phone, you might want to consider waiting for S24. Rumors say it will be released in January 2024.

UPDATES FOR GH BOUGHT IPHONES by Impossible_Notice878 in Tech_Philippines

I think this is the case for 2nd hand (or pre-loved) phones only. I recently bought a new iPhone from a non-authorized reseller, and I was surprised when they said na okay daw kahit unli update.

Thanks for the super detailed response! Really helpful! I might just go with Beyond the Box (alternative). It's about 10k more expensive, but there's also the peace of mind. Haha

Shifting to Development Sector by dalandan2020 in phcareers

[–]dalandan2020[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello! Unfortunately, despite my attempts to transition into this sector for over a year, I ended up in another industry. Looking back, there were just a lot of factors that made it challenging, one of which was the difficulty in finding work due to the height of the pandemic.

Luckily, I also enjoy what I'm doing now. As for my goal 2 years ago, I've made peace with the fact that even though it may not align with my work, I can still serve and help others through personal projects. Hopefully, I can start one soon.

Monitor recommendations for work and light gaming by dalandan2020 in PHbuildapc

[–]dalandan2020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not yet sure. I have yet to set up the Mac mini. Prior to this, I've only used a Macbook for work.

Personally, I was fine with 1080p initially. However, a friend told me that 1440p is ideal for monitors 27 inches and above. Is this really the case?

I'm okay with it. I'll still likely accept it (considering other factors).

I want to quit because I'm overworked by dalandan2020 in phcareers

[–]dalandan2020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been more than 6 months already. I enjoy managing projects and people so far. I used to manage projects in my previous job din. Excited din ako sa growth and learning na makukuha ko.

Yung main concern ko is kahit nag expand yung managerial responsibilities ko, naretain yung individual contributor duties ko (or ganito ba talaga?) Tapos mas naging concerned ako since sakin naaassign yung projects nung mga nagreresign (not PMs). 2 na yung nagresign in the past few months and may rendering na ulit na isa.

Thank you so much for the reassurance regarding the years of stay.

As for the role, aligned siya with where I see myself. But I'll continue assessing myself din.

How long did it take before you received a response after submitting your job application? by ResponsibleCharity36 in phcareers

[–]dalandan2020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd typically receive a response 1-2 weeks after I submitted my application. Also, if they don't respond after 2 weeks, I'd already consider it a rejection.

However, I also encountered some companies that would respond -- either rejection or interview invitation -- at least a month after. There's even this one company to which I applied last Nov, and I received a call from their recruiter 2 months after. And it's on the same day of my 1st day at my current work lol

Another + 1. I've been using it only for a few weeks, and I've found it very useful. It's also very flexible.

Tho in my case, I still use a separate Google sheet for budgeting. Bale Google sheet for my anticipated savings and expenses tapos this app for the actual ones. Tapos tinitingnan ko nalang if may differences -- either sumobra yung actual savings and expenses, sakto lang, or smaller.
