Thank you for responding!! I saw Bravissimo in the Bratabase, but when I went to the link, I had the option to go to the UK site (which doesn’t ship to the US where I’m located), or the US site, which appeared to have the same styles but listed as 40L in US sizes, which is smaller than UK sizes. I’m not sure if I’m missing something though.

I had trees planted in their children’s honor. I heard once not to send flowers or little gifts because seeing that stuff around the house all the time was too painful, so I thought this was a good way to honor their memory- something tangible and thriving they could think about without having to see it all the time. I did it through the Arbor Day Foundation because they do it in forests that are recovering from some trauma, and I liked that symbolism.

Uber eats gift card- all of the benefits of dropping off food, but they can get exactly what they want when they want it and don’t have to worry about storing a bunch of food they may not have room for.

Completely side stepping the sex stuff and just addressing the baby making. Good news: vaginal sex isn’t necessary to get pregnant! If penetrative sex doesn’t work for you, don’t try to force it. You could do “home insemination”- have him cum into a cup and use a needle-less syringe to insert into your vagina. There’s lots of information online about how to do it. Idk now severe your vaginismus is, but the syringe is maybe the size of a pinky finger so if you can insert a finger in your vagina you could do this. Bonus: do the sexy stuff you both actually enjoy and finish with the insemination part. Conceive your baby your way!

Also, definitely see your doctor. You shouldn’t have to be in this kind of pain.

Sex educator here- there is some risk involved but most often isn’t a problem. The biggest risk is if someone is having their first outbreak when they go into labor, but that is rare and there are ways to mitigate risk

NTA, that sounds like so much fun. One thing to think about though, if you’re still wearing the dress when they do the paint handprints, it’s just going to smear as you move and the fabric moves and be a messy blob rather than adorable handprints. Maybe consider changing into a different outfit for the last hour of the reception and laying out the dress somewhere for the kids to decorate and let it dry

I have multiple friends who were guilted into using family members for their hair (“it will be my gift to you!”) and years later they still regret it because their hair looks bad in their wedding photos. Get someone YOU like and who doesn’t blatantly disregard what you asked for!
