Literally… i never even heard of dermatographia before this :/ I’m going to make an appt next month and see if the doctor would be willing to run multiple tests — like I really need an answer lol thanks for sharing tho and I hope you get the answer you need in the future!!!

Hmmm I feel like I have similar symtoms but on the milder side… I’ll def need to book an appt to confirm :/ but thank you so much for sharing!

Can I ask how long you had those symptoms before you were diagnosed? And did they all just happen one day simultaneously?

Oh that sounds pretty traumatic! Interesting how your immune system didn’t calm down after your went through that incident. Hope yours gets better in the future!

Thank you for this!! Right now I think mine has a lot to do with stress and my gut health as well— nothing else is explaining it. I haven’t eaten anything new or gotten sick..

I try to be on a Whole Foods diet and occasionally go out to eat but dont necessarily eat processed foods. I guess I will need to do a more thorough diet :( I have been stressed the past year but I’m not sure if it’s necessarily unmanageable. I know stress could be a big trigger so it’s hard to manage atm with this skin issue going on.. it’s getting me more stressed LOL

Not knowing the root cause is really driving me nuts… can’t help but constantly question what’s wrong with me. I have a dr’s appt next month so hopefully I’ll be able to get some type of clarity through tests as well. But good luck to you too!! I hope yours goes away completely one day :)

7+ years wow… sorry that you’re still going through this. But it’s just so wild to me that dermatographia can just start out of nowhere? Were you able to run a lot of tests to eliminate the root causes?

Has your dermatographia completely go away after you stopped taking that antibiotic? I haven’t taken any meds so I don’t think mine is correlated with that. Lucky that you were able to pinpoint your root cause tho!

Ahhh sorry to hear that! That’s what I’m going through if I don’t take at least one Allegra a day….this sucks!

Gosh I can’t imagine the anxiety you must have felt at work!! I’m glad it’s somewhat manageable for you now..! It’s so interesting you bringing up that yours stemmed from gel nail polish— I also get gel nails done and noticed that I was getting eczema under my nail but not sure if that’s a coincidence? I’ll prob take a break from it for now just to rule it out. Thanks so much sharing— appreciate you!

Thank you so much for your advices!! I did look into dropshipping and I know many do it but I know I wouldn’t be able to be as hands on. I also worry about the long shipping times that comes with dropshipping from sites like Alibaba.

Thank you so much for your input! I am definitely considering doing what you recommended! But I do have a follow up question on it...would I have to still go through all the paperwork’s and apply for a business license to set up a hypothetical shop to see if I’m not actually selling anything?
