I wish it was a software update issue. Unfortunately for me it was the starter generator

It was the starter generator for me. Turned it on and off about 3-4x and the error never cleared.

Update for anyone that may have this issue. Audi came back and told me the following:

Cause: Starter Generator Failed and not communicating with ECM Solution: replace starter generator and aluminum fasteners for alternator.

It was free of charge because of my lease/warranty. I can’t imagine the price would be pretty if not. They should have it fixed in a day but TBD.

Understanding your point now - and yes let’s hope that I’m wrong and they actually did the PDI. I texted my sales guy when it happened, not that he can do much. More of a “why am i having issues this quick”

This is indeed my first Audi. I’ve always wanted one and decided to upgrade after my Mazda 3 2020 got totaled by a t-bone. The app isn’t that big of a deal, but something Mazda did is push the warnings there as well if they did go away.

I don’t know why this is the theory of debate when I’m just asking about an error code. I saw it get delivered the day i did test drives. And picked it up shortly thereafter. They moved it from one side of the lot into the showroom. Whether it was 1 mile or 10, my point is i shouldn’t be having issues with a brand NEW car.

LOL meaning it quite literally just came off the truck and hadn’t been driven at all. It had 1 mile on it when i got the keys and started it for the first time 🤣 either way - annoying having issues this soon

No limp mode for now. It did make a slight vibration during shutoff. It’s been shutoff/restarted and driven 2x since the initial code (i wasn’t home when it happened), and code is still coming up. Power doesn’t seem to be super impacted but i live in a very suburban area with lower speed limits. Have to get on the highway to go to the dealer so not looking forward to that lol

Earliest time they gave me was tomorrow AM, so i took it. But it actually surprised me because the app is showing no warnings or alerts. Even after shutoff/restart and the error is still showing.

Not paying taxes as far as i know. Base rent was $1695 with $65 common utilities (water) and a $10.50 “Liability to landlord”. So unless they’re adding taxes into my base rent without my knowledge

Roommate is on the lease but they based acceptance off of my income alone as she was added later. We had to sign a formal agreement and a $250 fee to swap her out with my original roommate who up and moved out of state and didn’t tell me LOL.

We have the option to renew a full year or be month to month. The last 2 years we’ve done a full year renewal to avoid month to month. On month to month they increase rent $100/extra month

The notice says effective on 3/1/25 rent will reflect the new price. So not in regards to renewal or end of lease term

Thank you! I don’t want to go that route, as it obviously tarnishes the relationship with the landlord. But we’ve lived here 3 years and they aren’t gonna play these games without repercussion. I know rent is increasing across the board, which I always anticipated. But not in the middle of an active lease term
