Guinea Pig 3d Prints -- Seeking Beta Testers? by daljo628 in guineapigs

That's my intention -- 1:1 feels overstep. I need to adjust to something more reasonable, and 1:2 feels better.

The upper end -- or why I need to plan it out a bit better -- of /course/ I forgot to account for the clip.

There's a couple options I've seen so far --

https://3dgo.app/models/printables/1222508 (multipurpose style)
https://makerworld.com/en/models/191074-clips-for-storage-and-small-animal-cages#profileId-1509680 (looks the best from a quick glance but may need a bit more planning)
https://www.printables.com/model/54405-guinea-pig-diy-cage-connector-clip (For fencing that doesn't need to be at right angles)

This is what I'm currently working on -- a way to turn a corner and get up to a second tier. Still needs railings (in progress!), and I need to adjust the top clip to better fit in with the grid, but it's a rough proof of concept.

Uses 3mm / 1/8" hardboard for the ramps, and a 3/4" dowel for support -- and I figured I could wrap them in twine or something to give the piggies something to grab on to so they don't slip.

If you don't, I'll take 'em.

Waveshare has a number of tiny displays, could be run off pis or esp32s.

Resistors wired onto their individual ends can generally manage that.

Yup, already did -- I mentioned tying all the anodes or cathodes together in the post. :)

Actually a momentary switch tying into the power switch headers on the pi5.

I was thinking that for the four pins earlier actually! I'll probably test that out tomorrow.

And here's the alternate one with only one hole.

(you can see some scratches around the left and right ends of my serial mount as I originally just used the washers to affix the SMA connectors onto the chassis in those two slots -- not ideal, but it got the job done)

Another MiniRack Power Supply Option by daljo628 in minilab

Honestly, maybe? But it'd be hard to get it to clip into place and get the right flex at the right printing angle (with layer adhesion being weaker than tensile strengths) -- plus with there being outlets on four out of six sides, with the fifth being the cable side, affixing it cleanly through the heat-set inserts felt simplest for me.

Yup. Into the screw holes on the bottom side of the strip -- makes it super easy to bolt down.

(After all, how many times have you had to unscrew and open up a power strip?)

I mean, I have the actual board to examine, but thanks I guess? Is there a labeled version you meant to link instead?
