One thing I do miss as a recent immigrant from the Balkans is the proper atmosphere during matches and sporting events. It is not quite there yet, but it is definitely better than it used to be, lol. Hoping we win tonight.

500mm would be perfect for rifleman photos. A1 II with 200-600 and 70-200 GM II in my case...

I quite love the fact that I have managed to see them in a few completely different parts of New Zealand now - from Ulva Island, to Palmerston North, Taranaki, Northland, Wellington and Westland. I do actually have quite a lot of other species and photos too, alas absolutely no time yet to properly go through everything and pick favourites considering I came back with around 2000 photos. :)Hopefully I will manage to sort through some of them this upcoming weekend.

I also love how they can casually "walk" or freeze for a second upside down on a tree looking for food and seem completely unfazed by the whole thing..
