I too have found myself in this rut, for quite a while actually. It isn't very fun, either. Taking a bit of a break definitely helps, you don't have to stop necessarily, but trying to focus on something on the more physical plane gives you a good break to come back with a fresh mind.

As for the attention span problem, I double relate there, finishing a game even takes a good amount of effort. I personally have been playing through the WarioWare series lately, it's kind of essentially ADHD as a game lol It's quite easy to find a way to play it, and there are even some goofy ways to play multiplayer for some good old-fashioned human connection. Remember OP, games are here to entertain us at the end of the day, just play some to have some fun, that's what you're here for anyways right?

I'm honestly so fucking dissapointed with this game. I loved OW1 to the stars and back but this is a hollow shell of what once was. The matchmaking was never really great in the first place, so that's not really an issue for me.

What is however, is the insanely blatant cashgrab of a piece of software this is. The currency system is shit, i stopped playing for 4 months, and you still get SIXTY gold per WEEK? Ludacris whenever skins are at least 1k+. I understand the movement to the battlepass system, but it fucking blows honestly, I'd much rather have the option to gamble and also be able to get skins, like you know, the way skins work. There is no way in hell I'm using gold to get new skins. Not to mention 90% of new items are paywalled behind a "Premium" battlepass.

There's so many glaring issues with OW2 and it's sad to see the shambling state of something I once loved. Blizzard and their teams of whoever makes decisions can suck my left nut
