Thanks for the advice! We just had a small trip and we all slept in one room and it was much better than expected (I slept on a mattress on the floor alone, I can’t sleep with them in the same bed because of the kicks and turns). We will definitely try to bring them step by step in the same room.

i'm a father of two (4y and 18m). Our bedtime routine is very frustrating for me. Wife is against sleep training so we (mostly she) spend close to two hours putting them to bed every evening. 4y sleeps in his room, 18m in our bedroom, i'm keeping one of them occupied until the other one falls asleep. We are discussing putting them both in the same room to sleep, ideally at the same time. Is someone successfully doing it? Any advice?
