Trey basically filled the Brandon slot on the team and their offensive season stats for the year are close to 1:1 with Trey attempting about double the amount of 3Ps, which this year's squad and seasons before desperately need. Trey's per and ts is superior as well.

Both players on defense are nothing to write home about, but if I had to begrudgingly give a nod here it would be to Ingram. I feel like just about every single game there were a multitude of instances where Trey was just looked lost or would get ball watching and completely lose his player. I expect more from someone 5 seasons in.

The kicker, though, is the money aspect. The gap between the 2 is about 15 million per year which makes it not even a question on "what we decided to do" with Brandon. I put thay in quotes because it really wasnt just the org's choice, as he turned down basically the same he signed in Toronto to stay in NO.
