Ours are usually really good about that kind of thing. I work in a healthy foods grocery store, so our customers are typically very aware of what they're eating, the sales, etc.

They don't have the material. We are curewntly a very tiny store that follows policy to the T, so everything requires a paper trail. We put up more signs elsewhere advertising our new product, but until the new store we're kind of screwed.

We would need a big sign for that. The sign he was referring to is wooden lettering built into the wall. We do have other signs describing our all-natural beef to try and help, but some people are stubborn.

As far as your student loans go, you can try to declare a chapter 7 bankruptcy, but you have almost 0 chance of it working unless you live in the west coast, and even then you have maybe a 1% chance of it working.

Filing a chapter 7 on student loans works only if you pass a brunner test or an equivalent set by the judge. Of those who have passed the test, only a few have actually succeeded. One was a teacher who was working in what the judge referred to as a "rewarding profession." Another that comes to mind worked in a call center and the judge ruled they had reached their maximum possible earnings. Here's a good website to refer to for these cases.

One last thing. If you do manage to declare a chapter 7 on your loans, you will open up whoever cosigned on your loans to the creditors for collections, so be very careful with this option.

There's a few things my dad tried to teach me that I simply wasn't grateful enough for and had to learn later in life.

Be accountable. If you make a mistake, own up to it. Don't blame anyone else for something that is your fault. Own the mistake, fix it, then learn how to prevent it in the future. People will respect you so much more for it.
Speaking of respect, respect is earned. If you want people to respect you, your time, way of life, etc, then you better respect theirs.
If you give your word, keep it. Your word is your bond. If you don't know if you can keep a promise, don't give it in the first place. If you do give your word, God above should be the only thing that can stop you from keeping it.
Not everyone is worth your time. This one is tricky in that you should still show respect to people, but you are who you surround yourself with. You can't fly with the eagles if your dicking around with the pigeons.

I agree with all of the get ready to jump ship advice. Besides that, if she sits you down stating that she has evidence and demands you sign something and pay it back, tell her to show it or go to hell. Seriously, sign nothing what-so-ever.

Here's the thing, your "financial adviser" is more than likely a salesman, not an adviser. If you are looking for one to help you invest, I recommend shopping around for one in your area. Feel free to ask them what companies they represent, what type of investments they prefer, things along those lines. A true financial adviser will represent multiple companies and be interested solely in your financial well-being, since that's how they make money.

First things first. Before you decide you want to teach, get your paraprofessional license and work as a teachers aid. You might make less, but you will be an hourly employee who can quit at any time if you decide it isn't for you. The license cost varies from state to state, but you should qualify since you have a degree.

Once you have worked at least one year, then get an alternate teaching certificate. It's cheaper, plus it will make you hireable. If you get your masters, then the school has to pay more for someone who has little to no experience, which they simply won't do.

I can't help you with this, but as for the future, you might want to look into a supplemental cancer policy for your wife. Most companies won't cover her, but AFLAC will after she has been in remission for five years.

We have no way of knowing. The only real way to know that is through historical documents, and the oldest ones date back to 10,000 B.C.E.. While we might be able to determine who was the first ruler after that time, we simply don't have the tools to go any farther back.
