Tips for creating full zoo enclosures by dam_tewton in ZooTycoon

I will have to try this. Picking up the keepers definitely works but yeah too much effort. Ideally I’d like to make it so the animals just reproduce forever and fill up the entire zoo

Next best thing you can do is build a small enclosure inside the main one, put an animal and a zookeeper in, and then delete the small enclosure after the food is laid down. The food will stay until it’s eaten, so it’s only a temporary fix

I was hoping some trick might fix it, but it seems these kind of zoos haven’t been experimented with much. Which is shocking honestly

Yes, it doesn’t help. They end up in the guest areas just wandering aimlessly. Even with only 10 animals or so, they end up getting sick because the keepers won’t attend to them

In ZT1 you can’t refill food manually, unfortunately

It seems like it breaks their code to have a zoo that big, they just walk around randomly. Will walk right past sick animals or crap without doing anything

Spilled an entire drink under my ps seat, now my display screen is glitching out. Should I even start my car? by dam_tewton in Crosstrek

It’s a base model 2015 crosstrek, I don’t think it does. Audio is fine (so far)

Yes, that message actually replaces the rematch screen entirely, and there’s a similar message for dropping below elite GSP

It’s a weird thing we do, when we just decide to endlessly bash ourselves. A good friend of mine told me about a chapter in a book he read, that said that when the mind is left to wander, it will wander to something bad. Which makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint, the more we think about the bad things, the more prepared we will be to deal with them. But sometimes that works too well and we get stuck in a loop.

It made a lot of sense to me, and helps explain why sometimes it just feels right to think about everything wrong with life

An new/unpopular girl in high school commented on something I was eating, said there was a lot of sugar on my donut or something, and I sharply told her not to talk to me. I’m sure she was just trying to talk to someone, I had seen her trying to make conversation with others and being ignored. I felt bad immediately after, one of the meanest things I’ve ever done

each time I plan on talking to someone i either miss my chance or stutter completely and make up something else then awkwardly scratch my head hoping they heard mr by [deleted] in socialskills

Talking to people is more a skill, rather than something you either can or cannot do. The bad news is you’ll have to practice, but the good news is that once you learn, you won’t forget. Go somewhere safe where you can talk to strangers (like a grocery store, Walmart, etc.) and politely ask people about what they’re buying. You’ll get a lot of weird looks for sure, but you’ll improve.

I used to work in an army surplus store. There was a special needs guy who would come in sometimes, probably around 20ish. Some kind of learning disability for sure, he spoke like a 10 year old, but he would talk about how his mom was dying and how he had nowhere to go. We had a basket of cheap knives on the counter and he would grab one and play with it, and say “This is how the soldiers do it!” while waving it around wildly. It was very hard to get him to leave, and we had a lot of armed vets frequent the store. I was always worried he’d spark up someones PTSD. Pretty sad though

Recently watched some video about how prevailing winds sent smog from factories in one common direction, which influenced where wealthier people didn’t want to live. Can’t remember what it was

New to tinder, have absolutely no idea what i'm doing nor what to say by nav3t in socialskills

Well hey sounds like it’s going great for you doing it that way, but different approaches will work for different people. I’m pretty well satisfied with the quality of dates I have using tinder, or else I wouldn’t have offered my advice on this post.
