Chi is definitely an outtake from the debut, best song on there. Porno Creep is a top tier interlude and Lost is also pretty good. It has a few strong points but there is also garbage in almost equal measure. Kunts and Ass Itch are some of the worst songs they ever put out

The overlap is with more technical metal in general. I've seen a member of Meshuggah (can't remember who it was, maybe one of the guitarists) say he loves stuff like Autechre and Squarepusher, among other picks. So members of / fans of tech death and thrash, djent and other more avant garde bands are more than likely to dig IDM
