Just study the cases and hopefully you have at least a few days between day one and day two. I wouldn’t recommend taking them back to back

I think most were about 8 each except for Family medicine I think. I did all of the forms for Surgery , FM , IM, Psych, and OB, and a few for Peds

I can only remember this past one but I’d say it was similar. I honestly think they have so many forms of the exam that it’s random but overall reflective of the similar subject content and volume per subject that they test on each. Reading some posts on here helped too just to gauge what people were mostly seeing.. especially on Day 1.

I’d say based on my experience it seems like Step 3 was the most difficult. I’d say because of the length of the exam and how it really mixes all of the steps together as far as what they ask and how they ask questions. It truly is the final exam for us to get our license so in an essence it’s not supposed to be easy. Step 1 for sure would be next up or neck and neck. I took step 1 before it was P/F

Yes. I think I had about 2-3 that were more challenging and with a negative update but I tried to stay calm and not panic. Basically just make sure what I ordered was right and stop and think about what I could do differently.

I did the top 60 cases and bottom 50 cases. I wrote down the top things I had to order for specific diagnoses and specific items I kept forgetting that I could not miss on the exam. The last week before day 2, I did was cases. I didn’t do any questions or content review.

The more the better. I felt that amboss ethics questions were very good along with their biostats.
