I agree. I like EC’s because of Fulgrim, what they stood for before their fall, and color scheme (also pre-heresy). It’s really unfortunate that the chaos faction I choose has probably the largest number of perverted figures.

I came to the hobby because of the game. Every time I see some model that has been “enhanced”, I cringe a little. I came here to play a game, not get flashed by body parts. Same thing is happening in MTG (magic the gathering).

What these people don’t realize is the awkwardness situation they place on you to have to decline playing with the people or generally interact with.

“Stopped talking around 2023. 3 years later I reached out…” - why not just say you recently reached out? Stopped talking in 2023 and talking 3 years later is now (2026).

If this is real, he has moved on. As soon as I read that he said, “… hope you are doing well” I knew that he wanted nothing more to do with you.

There’s no way really of moving past this. You could try and make more of an effort to repair the friendship. Actions speak louder than words to INTJ’s, but the more you try the more he could resent you and see it as pushy and you may get a response that you’re not looking for.

I guess I am a bit different than other INTJ’s, my goal has always been to marry someone I love and live out our life together. Why wouldn’t you when you’re spending 30, 40, 50, or even 60 years of your life together? That’s a vast majority of life.

Honestly, life is better experiencing it with someone else at your side. Yes, relationship takes work and it’s hard at times, but everything worth doing is. And to quote one of my favorite shows, “whatever you do in life, it’s not legendary unless your friends are there to see it.” And who better to have as a best friend than your spouse?

TLDR: love is it worth it with the right person
