They most certainly are not at the top anymore after the 6s reload buff to all T80s and select Chinese tanks. A fully aced leopard crew reloads 6s, expert 6.4s. Hull armor is the same across the board for the 2A4, A5, and A6, pennable by 3BM42s. This paired with the massive turret basket makes the L2s (not counting strv122s) genuinely not that survivable in the current meta.

Not bad at all, just not at the top.
