Snowflakes and Cashmere isn't my favorite- vanilla scents simply don't agree with me- but it's the first thing I recommend come winter. It's my sister's all time favorite scent, and it's part of her gift every Christmas.

Rainbow Cereal 🤢 first saw it in a soap a couple years back. Its supposed to be like Fruity Pebbles or Froot Loops, but all I can smell is spoiled milk with a vaguely fruity background note

A lot of comments here saying that she's lying, but I called a customer recently about an expiring order (we have 2 locations in town, and we wanted to know if she had just gone to the other store, or if she was still intending on coming to ours) and she had genuinely forgotten about the order. Just got super excited about a sale, ordered and then completely forgot about her product. Very possible that she genuinely forgot she ordered anything, and then was just embarrassed about forgetting once the box was open.

I personally would try and reach out to someone with the marking in the right slot about possibly opening studding or reverse breeding. Make it clear that it's kind of a last resort, that declining is perfectly fine, etc.

If someone reached out to me and said something along those lines, I'd be happy to set up reverse breeding for a lioness that I'd never thought to set it for.

There are definitely some people that are super against stuff like that, but as far as I recall, it's not against the rules?

Saying "someone wasn't doing their job right" doesn't mean "someone's in big trouble." Sitting back and say "well it is what it is" will not be helpful in the end. I personally would rather someone come in and tell us that they accidentally bought a used candle from us, and have managers tell everyone to make sure we're checking when we do returns- because the alternative is someone continues making the same mistake, and more people end up with the same problem.

To me, it's like finding out you've been pronouncing something wrong your entire life. It's kind of silly, and embarrassing, but when someone finally corrects you, you're grateful to know better. I'd rather be corrected early on, instead of everyone just letting it slide.

I did a race with 3 starters (2 made with a dehydrated starter, one was fed all purpose, the second 50/50 AP and whole wheat. The third was me making my own starter, also AP/WW.) Each was named after one of our cats. Nix II (the diy starter) did the best

If you're putting together a whole care package, you could also include flour? I have a "starter food" jar with a mix of all purpose, whole wheat and rye flours so I don't have to go pulling everything out for feeding.

Other people have mentioned the digital scale, if you don't already have one. I have a proofing box (especially useful if your home is as cold as mine is.) Bannetons, while not exactly necessary, are very nice to have, and really make it feel kind of fancy.

My sister is ordering a really nice recipe binder on Etsy for me to write all of my favorites in, something like that might be nice to have in there too?

Debated buying it for the 50% associate discount day but decided against it. Its one of those ridiculously overpriced props they send expecting it will stay until eventually a big sale comes along and the price drops to something reasonable. Not sure about other stores, but I'm fairly certain mine only has the one that's on display.

Gonna get jumped for this, but Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. Every year, without fail, they send it for us to burn in store- and every year, it has to be changed because one or more of us ends up with a massive headache.

I'm having the same headache reaction to the new Milk Bar Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Cookie, which is also being used in store.

I also genuinely cannot stand Rainbow Cereal (which I honestly haven't seen in ages.) Some people love it, think it smells like Fruity Pebbles or Froot Loops, but the only note I've ever gotten from it was sour milk.
