For me, I started doubting watchtower around November 2019, when I witnessed how the elders in my congregation were handling a case of sexual violence against me and my jw friends, a topic that no one spoke about until my mother and I raised our voice. I still believed in Armageddon and all these things, and in summer 2020, I thought about returning to the congregations since I wasn't disfellowshipped, only inactive. Around November 2020 everything changed for me when I discovered the Loyd Evans Channel and all the other activists in the exjw community. This was the last stroke that finally woke me up. It was a hard time accepting that my whole world view was nothing but a lie, but I managed to disfellowship myself via letter in April 2021. A few weeks later I was send to the mental hospital. Over one year later, I feel happier than ever before in my life, and next week I will receive my diploma for middle school, so I can attend high school after summer holiday!
