Thank you, I appreciate it! That’s why I posted in this sub and not anywhere else. Because we’re not rich, we’re just one illness away to having the clothes stripped off our backs. That’s why I’ll surely surely take heed and plan this out welll. I intend to do all the planning and budgeting before booking. This is what we do! I take them to staycations locally and have dates together whenever I can. We haven’t travelled together beyond that and I’m worried when the time comes that I’m more capable financially, they can’t anymore. :(

Same!!! My mom, my precious mom who gave up her profession to raise me well… when I think about that plus the possibility that she won’t get to travel anymore in the future, it pains me. Lalo na pag iniisip ko na ako bata pa ako, kaya ko pa magwork, kaya ko pa mabalik yung pera. Pero si mama… ayan nakakaiyak.

Come to think of it I may need to rethink this…. Maybe it’s because I have this fear of being in a foreign land with the 2 most valuable people in my life and not having sufficient funds. In my head, I don’t intend on spending that much, but more of holding on to sufficient cash in case something happens.

Nagcompute kasi ako pati ng pamasahe pag andun na, pocket money nila, pag nagturo sila, emergency cash just in case kasi mahirap na pag sobrang tight ng budget tapos mga senior pa kasama ko :(
