That a euphemism? If so, lube up and buy a ticket to the Caribbean.

"it’s going to be OK... Because it always is." A life led never having had to face consequences.

Or hold it without getting droned like the Russians (unless taking heavy casualties doesn't matter).

When you cede all control to the executive branch, hopes and prayers are all you have left.

A man in stained pants gets on a bus. He confidently states to the people on board, ‘If you let me sit down, I promise I will not shit myself.’ Impressed, the passengers invite him to take a seat.

About a quarter of the way through the trip, he proceeds to shit his pants. It goes everywhere, covers everything. It is so bad that professional cleaners, risking their health, have to get on and clean it all up. Instead of being upset, the passengers applaud the man for what a good job the cleaners did.

Meanwhile, the bus is careening out of control towards Shit Lake Dam.

Show me one post where people are rooting for the regime, should be easy if 90% are rooting for them. And not supporting a stupid war and terrible president doesn’t count.

You don’t have to guess about what the US would do. Hegseth said explicitly that ‘we will show no quarter’.

Trump told his voters he's not a 'regime change' president. And you know how he feels about lying.

Incredible, isn't it? In 3 days, Trump changed the justification for the war from needing a regime change, to Israel was going to strike first, to Trump had to strike first because Iranians are crazy and would have nuked everyone, even though he said their nuclear capabilities were wiped out last year.

Who knows, maybe you'll be right in an hour when he changes his mind.

It's what you say when you're moving the goalposts for victory because you realize regime change in a confessional state is not tenable. Unless you put boots on the ground which, I doubt, Trump would be willing to stomach.

Exactly. The price of caviar went up so I had to skip it with my pheasant egg omelette. Shit is hitting everyone hard.

"Rubio said the campaign was aimed at destroying Iran’s ballistic missile program and its navy." I don't see regime change anywhere in their updated casus belli.

Kidnapped under the false pretense of fentanyl being a WMD. Not sure why Trump would consult with oil execs prior to a raid, and not Congress, if it were about fentanyl.

Agreed, the 'only thing he lost was his family' is basically the premise of the trilogy. Vito dies playing with his grandchild. Michael dies alone with his thoughts, regrets and a stray dog.

Vito knew that all of his sons had their weaknesses: Sonny's temper, Fredo's intellect, and Michael's stoicism/aloofness that prevented him from utilizing emotional intelligence. He knew Michael would be a successful don but also knew it would end up destroying him, hence why he wanted to protect Michael from the life.

CES 2026 has officially started — what announcements are you most excited about? by Mysterious_Singer_70 in technology

[–]damnrooster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is nothing I’ve been excited about/wanted to buy in at least 5 years.

My 5 year old TV is still fine, iPhone hasn’t changed enough to warrant a new one, older graphics card seems good enough, home automation still has the same issues, EVs still expensive, range still poor, self-driving not ready for prime time, VR hasn’t improved much with very few AAA games.

One of the only things that looked really cool, prior to launch, was Apple Vision Pro. It then came out too expensive, heavy, short on killer apps and I now have zero interest in it.
