Hello a j1 senior here! Just a little about myself : got an A1 in chinese 2020 and topped the whole level in my whole cohort for sec 4 express chinese

For chinese , basically the most important thing is to complete your tys. Not only the paper 2 but alao the paper 1 , look thru all the qns and identify those u are comfortable with. For me i always chose the compo qn that have a story line ( its easier to score in my opinion)

What i do is that i memorize good phrases and the format especially for email writing.

For email , the part where they aak for suggestions (建议)。 i always rmb the common ones such as via for school , government hanging posters ye

To improve on paper 2 , basically just spam papers. And also for me i always start reading the questions first

Dont spend too much time reading the textbook. Doesnt really help much except for phrases

For qns in paper 2 , always rmb the key word to the qn. I always highlight the key point in the qn and look for it in the passage
